Hi!
I'm Kevin Miranda from the Philippines, I just got a bonestock Honda Steed VLX 400 running a dual carb and with a hell of a mess wiring. Not sure if it's a '98 or '99, this is actually an import bike from Japan since Honda steed is never released in the Philippines as far as I know. Parts here are scarce, usually expensive even on a used condition. I'm planning to chop it in the future, slowly, so less chance of f***ing it up.
I am looking forward to learning from you guys who have far more experience in dealing with these bikes.
This is gonna be fun! :)

There should be a sticker on the right lower frame rail by the roight side footpeg mount with a production date and theres usually a sticker on the neck as well to tell you the year.
the steed was sold in the phillipines!! have fun man!
