Thanks for letting me in! My name is Rick and I'm the proud owner of 2008 Honda Shadow Aero. I'm not a "motor head" but I know enough to be dangerous and I'm not terrified about trying my hand at working on things, which CAN be disasterous.
That being said, I'm loving what I'm seeing here at TJ Brutal Customs and just received the performance kit for my Shadow from my family as a Father's Day/birthday gift. I spent yesterday evening getting the carb removed and am anxious to get it broken down, cleaned up and back together with the new gear. I'm also a little anxious about doing that correctingly so will likely be posting a few questions as I work through it. TJ's videos were a huge help in getting the carb off and getting it back together with the performance kit installed doesnt' look to be too terrifying but I am concerned about making sure that I get the details right and then get it tuned so that I don't jack up my bike. Wish me luck!
