Hello. I have a 2005 Shadow Spirit VT750 that I recently rebuilt with the high performance kit. I do have open exhaust and also installed velo stacks and the slide breather vents. Upon tuning I found I was getting erratic idle the source may have been from the front cylinder as oer the readings from my vacuum gauge. I have also experienced after fire which I corrected by syncing the carbs the first time prior to the carb rebuild. There have also been some issues with getting the bike to start up. It may die upon initial start and I'll have to open the throttle or choke to get it to stay on. This morning it would crank but no start. Note that both my idle mix screws were set to 2.5 turns originally and eventually increased to about 3 1/4 to try and correct the issue. I did get to take it on one test drive after the rebuild and there is an obvious increase in performance, which is a plus.
