The Velocity Stack for the Honda VTX1300 is one of the easiest ways to improve performance on your carbureted bike! A velocity stack allows the carb throat (Venturi) to be extended so the engine can maintain vacuum beyond the slide of the carb, as well as serving to reduce turbulence; resulting in a much more efficient delivery of emulsified fuel and air mixture to your engine.
Each stack includes:
Any time you adjust your intake or exhaust, you will need to tune your carb properly using the correct style of jets. You will also want to make sure you retain the o-ring that fits the mouth of the carb, place this on the carb, then install the stack. We have a jet kit in the works that will include everything you need!
For Closed Course Use Only blah blah blah.
The stack looked great on the bike. But I couldn’t tune the carburetor correctly to accept the stack. Bike ran pretty bad. Spent 8 hrs changing needle shims, jets and dailing in air fuel adjuster. Nothing I did would work. I was defeated and gave up. Emailed the company for a possible refund but they didn’t accept returns that have been installed understandably. I’m not going to knock the product bc it probably works fine under the right conditions. But my 25+yrs as an auto technician the velocity stack stumped me.
Very easy to install. Fit and finish is terrific. Tuning was not all that difficult either. I’m running Hard Krome exhaust with the velocity stack, and it runs great. It pulls much harder through the whole RPM range. Great product and great customer service as well.
It is awesome currently I have I have it on hope this helps a little bit but I have an aftermarket needle on 3rd clip from blunt end and running 208/60 on jets and 2 1/2 turns I am currently running rich so I'm going to mess with the 205 and 200 jets and see what I like better I am running cobra slip on 2 1/2 I do believe. I unfortunately had to go woth the black because when I order polished was out
Ok, I’ve been running bike with TJ Brutal Velocity stack, 215 main & 60 Pilot, have Cobra pipes. Bike runs and sounds great, also added Glen’s permanent A/F screw for ease of adjustment. Bike definitely has more pep and looks great!
The overall product is good. Looks great. Fits great. Just can't get it fine tuned. But over all it ran pretty good. On my 1300c. I could feel a power difference. But definitely eats more gas with it on. Usually have to turn on reserve on at 150+ miles. 122 miles with stack on. Hope they come out with a jet kit for this.
