This brass stem nut replaces the ho-hum boring stock stem nut. Just remove that crusty old nut and after adding a bit of anti-seize, thread this nut on in its place!
Take care when installing that you catch the threads properly as brass can be soft and if cross threaded you'll have a real bad time! You dont need to muscle this nut down either!
