The TJ Brutal Customs 2-1 Performance Stainless Exhaust cleans up the Honda VTX1300 with a tight, purpose-built 2-into-1 design that looks right at home on the 1300. No unnecessary nonsense. Just premium stainless steel, good welds, and a whole lot less ugly hanging off the side of your bike.

Each exhaust includes the mounting components needed for installation.

Why This Exhaust Is Different

Deep, Aggressive Sound 
Built around a stainless-steel perforated core wrapped in stainless-steel wool, the muffler delivers a deep, low exhaust note that sounds aggressive while remaining smooth, rather than sharp, raspy, or harsh.

Replaceable Muffler, Not a Disposable Exhaust System
Mufflers are wear items. Over time, internal packing can deteriorate and change the sound of an exhaust. Instead of forcing you to replace the entire system like other manufacturers who just want more money from you, our two-piece design allows the muffler to be removed and replaced independently while keeping the main header and collector assembly. 

Modular Design 
The removable muffler also makes the system modular. Different muffler designs can be swapped onto the same header and collector assembly, giving you the ability to change the look or sound of your exhaust without buying an entirely new system.

Vibration Reduction
During testing of the original prototype, we found that too much vibration was being transmitted through the frame and handlebars. We redesigned the mounting system with a dedicated vibration isolator, producing a night-and-day improvement in smoothness while retaining the aggressive exhaust sound.

Stainless Construction Inside and Out
The stainless construction doesn’t stop at the exterior. Inside the muffler you’ll find a stainless-steel perforated core surrounded by stainless-steel wool, creating the distinctive deep, smooth tone that took months of iterating to perfect.

Natural Stainless Heat Coloration
Properly cleaned before its first heat cycle, the raw stainless develops a natural, even gold-to-straw coloration as it goes through heat cycles—giving every system the unmistakable appearance of a real stainless performance exhaust.

Simple Two-Piece Construction
The forward pipes and crossover form the main exhaust assembly, while the muffler slips onto the system separately and is secured with a v-band clamp. This makes installation, servicing, and future muffler replacement considerably more straightforward and easy on the road if necessary.

Compact, Efficient Design
The two-piece construction also allows the complete exhaust to ship in a significantly smaller package, helping reduce unnecessary shipping costs without compromising the finished system giving you a more affordable experience with no loss in performance!

The result is a system with a deep, smooth exhaust note, replaceable and upgradeable muffler, vibration-isolated mounting, stainless internal construction, and a modular design built to stay on your bike for the long haul.

Built from 16GA/.0605” 304 stainless steel tubing, each system uses individually extruded and ultrasonically cleaned 304 stainless elbows for improved fit, appearance, and flow. Everything is TIG welded and finished with TJ Brutal Customs DOM exhaust bosses for a setup built to do its job and look damn good doing it.

And because it’s stainless, you can leave it raw and let it develop some character—or polish it up if you’re the type who actually cleans your motorcycle.
