If you wish to retain your stock key location, you will need to modify the left side mounting wing with a small cutout. This is easily done with an angle grinder. If this is done, you cannot return the e-tank.

The Tenet Modular Axle Mount License Plate Bracket in a black finish, is the answer to keeping your license plate mounted to your motorcycle looking clean as well as the way your local boys in blue want it! While this modular motorcycle license plate bracket (aka motorcycle license plate mount), will fit the Honda Shadows, we made it universal so it fits most bike out there with an axle.

(b). The Slim Fit Vertical License Plate Bracket - Left Side, tucks the license plate right behind your bikes rear sprocket or shaft drive hub, this gives the bike a much more narrow profile! Not to worry, there's space in there between the sprocket and bracket to remove your chain without removing your license plate bracket.
