I'm newer to bike mechanics but I had gotten this 1994 Honda shadow vt1100. I was told it was carb issues. The carbs looked like they were set ablaze at one point. So corroded and just utterly destroyed. Looked like someone tried to rebuild it cus it had new internals. The choke external assembly was snapped off. I just went ahead and got a new carb.soon after I got it installed which will still have to be tuned. I have aftermarket exhausts and a air box delete from the previous owner. Soon after tho I realized that I don't have spark. The coils were replaced prior to me buying it. Guys said it was wiring that they had to fix. Wiring was mangled completely, went off of some tj brutal wiring videos and some diagrams for the bike. Got the bike to turn over but no spark. So I started with the battery. The terminals on the battery has pieces broken off they look like they was chewed off. Heavy scratches in the terminals and the battery cables would have to held on to even turn the bike over. I am getting a new battery. I've tested the pulse gen, it's good. Spark plugs and boots should be good, the cdi is good, the coils are good. The coil plugs are good. Ign start and kill are good. But I just couldn't figure out why I'm not getting spark. Hopefully with the battery being mangled like it is currently that can cause it?
