Honda dual carbs

  Carb help plz. I have a 2003 Honda shadow 750 spirit. Hey I got a problem and idk what to do. My fuel air mixture screw is stuck. I’ve heated the aluminum I’ve drenched it in all sorts of liquids to loosen it and I’ve tapped it with a hammer. I got an extraction kit but I don’t wanna tear it apart any suggestions or should I just buy an old one on eBay or even a Chinese one? Also I bought velocity stacks do I have to change the floats and rebuild the carbs with new stuff?

  @Malcolm Morris i would leave it in a solution of 50/50 ATF fluid and acetone for a few days. seriously. dont let the acetone touch anything plastic. i have used this method a few times, sometimes it takes a week or more for the solution to do its job. just soaking. try that first and if that doesnt work, the options are drilling the air fuel mix screw or getting a different carb. 

  soaking may take some time just be patient. but its certainly cheaper than buying a new carburetor
