Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum as well as working on engines. I have a 2000' Shadow VT 600 and just installed the boot burners (super badass pipes!) along with a velocity stack and tuning/preformance kit for the carb, and im having some trouble getting the bike to idle right. It's running extremely rich, like soot coming from the pipes rich; and has a really low idle and no matter how much i turn the preformance tuning screw in or out it doesnt seem to change that much. When I open the trottle it sounds fine but sinks back down into that real low idle and sometimes stalling after throttling, and I'm having trouble understanding the tuning diagram on the TJB website and cant really find a youtube video to explain carb tuning in a way that i can understand and apply to my bike.
