Sissy bar recommendations

    I have a 2004 Honda shadow spirit 1100cc. It has the small cushion sissy bar on it currently with the luggage rack but I wanna upgrade it to something better that I can attach my bag to easier since the luggage rack is more less just to strap something on it instead of clip around the bar. Any ideas that won't break the bank?

    Hey guy, I have a 2002 Honda shadow saber 1100cc with (sounds like) the same set up you have. I'm in the same boat. Small falt metal rack and I use a strap to keep shit on it but man I'm always looking behind me to make sure my backpack is still there. Unfortunately I'm not seeing many options.

    @ThisGuy imnot sure what youre expecting but everyone just ratchet straps their bags to a sissy bar and goes. not bungee cords or rope, but ratchet straps. its the only way to securely hold stuf on the sissy bar. 
    multiple straps. never had anythign fall off my bikes in 20 years. 

    but you can always search the internet for sissy bar options for the VT1100. might be some cool options out there that im totally unaware of!

    @TJ Ratchet straps. Never thought of that. I've been using 4 or five bungee cords 😁
