I'm trying to get a budget vlx600 build going. I found a 2007 that's in need of some tlc for $600.
It needs a carb, tank, chain/sprockets, a seat and I'm sure a couple hundred more misc pieces to get it road worthy. Engine does turn over though.
It's also got no title so I'll have to get a bonded title but I'm not too worried about that.
My question is would you take this chance? It's by far the cheapest VT600 I've found, and I'm itching to get my hands dirty with a project. Is this one too far gone or do I have a good platform here?

@Ryx600 ive bought rebuilt and sold a lot of these. if youve never done this, no i wouldnt touch that. its been left out with the intake and exhaust open tot he atmosphere. ill bet a dollar that you will have compression issues, rings are probably seized, valves will need work, replacement, guides, seals are probably shot, who knows if water got into the crankcase. These are not difficult for me and no i wouldnt pay $600 for that nightmare. i would pay $100 TOPS and no title? bro, walk away. LOL
No title, no deal. In most states that means it was stoelen at one time, or lost paper work which is its own challange.
