Hey from the ATL.
When I was a younger DannyZ IE in my 20s I used to build Cafe Racers in Chitown IL out of old KZ bikes found in junk yards until family and career took up all my time. I bought my buddys VT100 ACE for the ride quality and to get my girl to come along for some rides on the dragon.. Just love that thing. I still have it, never had a single issue with it.. Fast forward almost 40 years and I find myself setting up my shop in the garage itching for a project. SO now I want to try my hand at a WWII themed sport bobber, out of a shadow. I rode a Harley based one yesterday built by a good old boy in the hills of GA and thought to myself well that was fun but what an unsmooth, unsophisticated beast that was. I know if I build one out of a Honda platform it will be more enjoyable to ride to get food or go to the gym. That said found your vids on the You(boob)tube and just enjoyed TJs no nonsense... well... sense! Thanks for making this space. I am sure I will have some Qs for ya in the coming months. Now off I go to find a used Shadow.. Any advice on the year to buy for my first Shadow project bike?
