I planning to buy a Honda bike, I used to have a VT600, but now I want a shadow 750 or Honda fury, which one is recommended I'm 53 years old and I want to do short trips like 600 miles or so, and of course days riding around the town.... thanks in advance.

TJ Admin Staff memberModeratorMember who has the rights to delete posts, and ban members form forum if they violate the rules.@Mario R ill be honest, the fury kinda disappointed me, its great for taller guys, nice quiet shaft drive that requires little maintenance, prety comfrotable riding position, its got a big engine borrowed from the VTX1300, very easy to maintain, and the cockpit is very minimal.
i didnt like that i t has a really low capacity tank, the wheel base gives the bike the handling of a chopper, you will need 4 lanes to make a u-turn LOL! the headlight absolutely sucks and its hideous. theres a limiter that stops you from going ovber 100mph... weak. Also, the rear tire, is a 200/50-18, not a lot of choices out there for that size. its a solid bike, with a bit of a limited range for its size due to the fuel tank capacity but it was fun to ride and it looks pretty neat.
it will do much bvetter on a long distance trip of 600 miles than a 750 would running at lower rpms at highway speeds means reduced vibration and a more enjoyable ride. i love the 750's and they are very capable, but not as easy on the body on long trips.
