Velocity stacks

  Hello I have a 96 honda shadow ace 1100c2  and I just purchased  the max performance  kit from tj.has anyone  put velocity stacks on a 1100 .im just curious  about where to start.ive heard nothing but horror  stories  about velocity stacks.im thinking of not even using them and just sticking with the back draft exhaust.

  So long as you use the screens supplied it should be fine especially since on the 1100s the carbs are a bit under the tank. So unless you like driving through ponds you should be fine.
