I have a 2000 750 Ace that I built myself .. long story short it was running great until my carbs gummed so I cleaned them and now I’m running one cylinder. I just replaced spark plugs. Not sure I cleaned the carbs well enough though. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated
@Joshua Phillips if the only thing you messed with was the carbs and spark plugs, , pull those and go through with a fine tooth comb, also, make sure your intake boots are new. if they are the original, my dude, 25 year old rubber will not seal. We do offer a kit here - https://shoptjbc.com/products/dual-carb-intake-boot-kit
next make sure all your spark plugs are fully plugged into the boots. tbh, i would just replace the wires and boots, what will often hapen is the wire becomes disconnected in the stock boot when someone pulls them out to replace the plugs, leading to a no fire situation.
@TJ I've already rebuilt the carbs with your full kit and have the stacks and your exhaust, boots are new as well. I'll try replacing the wires next and see what I get and go through the carbs again. I really appreciate it!
@TJ also I did all this and rode for 2 summers before this started. The bike wouldn't even start at all until I cleaned the carbs this last time so now it's starts but as I mentioned is running one cylinder
