This weld in battery box accommodates the stock size battery box found on the VT600 and VT750 Honda Shadows. Weld on capability means you can make your own brackets or clamps or drill it full of holes and mount this wherever your heart desires! Obviously some locations it won't fit in, so don't be a dummy; find a spot that it fits!
This is not meant for any one location on your bike. It is a battery box that is meant for those who have fabrication capabilities.The box fits the stock batteries perfectly, and can then be modified, welded, cut, to suit your application.

This product is more than I expected.
When i got the box it wasnt a perfect fit ( mostly as tolerance is tight in this spot with such thick ass material). so i used a 3" angle grinder and took off 1/16 from the bottom weld of the shock mount and the opposing outer top edge of box. just enough to get it in but still snug .
wish i could post pic but im sure youll figure it out. just spot weld on corners and run one bead along where shock mount arm contacts box , paint and done . was sweating it at first but ive spent more time polishing a single riser .
