Backdraft Exhaust for Honda Shadow VT1100

The Backdraft Exhaust for the Honda Shadow VT1100 are a super-rad bolt on exhaust design that is unrestricted and will help you get the best performance out of your VT1100!

• 1998-2001 VT1100T ACE Tourer models

• Does NOT include exhaust gaskets

NOTE: When installing your exhaust , the boss and collar will not sit flush with the exhaust port, there WILL be a gap. Do not over tighten the exhaust nuts as this can lead to undesirable results.

Do not wrap these pipes, doing so will void the warranty as well as increase the chances of corrosion and structural failure. Please refer to the support page for an explanation as to why we do not wrap pipes. All pipes are handmade and will have minor differences from set to set, being the nature of custom, handmade parts, you may see some plating differences, weld differences, but all pipes have been checked to make sure that with proper care, they will have a long life on your bike.  Color change is normal on all pipes even when plated as they are single wall exhaust. If not cared for properly rust and corrosion can even occur on plated pipes
If you decide to put these on the early gen VT1100's with the two-piece right side, side covers, then you will need to remove the right side side cover to run these. This is why we do not advertise that they are a direct fit for anything not clearly stated in this description.  

Other things you'll need:

• You will need exhaust gaskets when installing new exhaust on your Honda Shadow VT1100!  You can get them HERE! 
• Any time a change is made to exhaust a re-jet is necessary. Get our VT1100 Performance Tuning kit.  This is intended as a VT1100 performance upgrade with our VT1100 Velocity Stacks and or/open exhaust and is not recommended for a stock intake/exhaust setup.
