These shorty choke knobs replace the stock choke assembly for the VT600, VLX, and the VT750. The stock choke is a long dangling thing that just never seems to have a home once you start chopping the bike.

Single Carb Choke Knob Will Fit:

      • 1999-2007 VT600, VLX 600, VT400, Steed
      • 2004-2014 VT750 AERO models (2015 and up had EFI)

Dual Carb Choke Knobs Will Fit:

      • 1988-1998 VT600, VLX 600
      • 1998 and up all dual carb VT750 models- Spirit, ACE,
      • 1983 VT750C (was only available in America for this year)
      • 1984-85 VT750C (was only available in Canada)
      • 1983-86 VT500C

You can pull firmly on the knob and they will lock into place, once locked open let the bike warm up for a few minutes. To shut off the choke, Press it into its seated position.

These will fit the dual and single carb Honda VLX, VT600 and the single and dual carb VT750, as well as the VT1100 and VTX1300. If your stock air filter box is installed, accessing the choke will be near impossible.  These are best paired with our sexy velocity stack intakes!

Spring in choke knob not strong enough plunger not long enough either

I have a 2008 honda shadow vt750 spirit i put the shorty choke knob on and the plunger wouldn’t sit perfectly in the carburetor so i had to add another spring to add more tension and had to cut a piece off the top rubber on the shorty choke knob. Finally i got it to seat in the carb perfectly but it didnt fit as advertised

Cleaned up the left side. Relocated the idle adjuster while I was at it. Happy times!

      Shorty choke knob

This is the 2nd set of choke knobs I have purchased. I have 2 Shadow VT 1100c's.One is bobbed and the other is being built out as a short chop. These knobs work great and in two years I have had no issues with them. They do the job with style.
