New to the forum, not the awesome channel. I aquired an 86 VT700c for $200. with a clean title! Rebuilt carbs, a few small electrical repairs , and its running great, alibet not cosmeticall pretty. Hard deal to pass up. I know these tariff bikes are not abundant, nor the parts. But is there a thread/s anywhere or does anyone have alot of info on customizing these bikes? Since I got it so cheap I wanna try all kinds of performance mods if possible.
Tried searching the forum but most replies are simply "you bought a bad year bike." Would love to get aftermarket exhaust, air intake system, and tune accordingly. Just looking if anyone already did the work I can mimic.
Any South Louisiana peeps in here? Bayou region Lafourche and Terrebone?
I love motorcycles in general. No brand loyalty, just good deals. Rode honda dirtbikes trail riding growing up.

Other: 1981 Honda CB750c currently rebuilidng
Not running: 1985 Yamaha Virago XV700 (yes another tarrif bike, for $300 bucks. future project)
