If you remove the airbox components on a Honda Shadow with dual carbs, the carbs will have a hard time creating enough negative vacuum to pull in a steady flow of fuel from the pilot and main jet. The solution to this issue? Velocity Stacks! This allows the carburetors venturi to be lengthened enough so that the engine can maintain constant vacuum beyond the slide of each carb, as well as allow the air turbulence to be reduced. resulting in a much smoother delivery of air and fuel emulsification to your engine.

What you see in the picture is that you get plus some extra hardware and a super tiny, cute as hell Allen wrench. The quality and fitment is amazing! It’s a little tight in my 99 vt1100 (factory wire loom) but it’s under the knife so perfect timing! It took me about a week to touch them without gloves on I didn’t want any marks on them. Lol call me crazy. If you’ve read this far In the review add it to you cart a buy it! It’s worth it!
Works perfect and makes good intake sounds
I got these as apart of the MAX performance kit and applied it to my stock 07 spirit. However, does anyone have any tips on tuning the carb? I got rid of all the epa stuff and am currently running 200 main and 50 pilot with 2 shims. Low end is solid, idle is high and I get heavy hesitation when around 55mph, especially in 3rd gear. With WOT working fine in 3rd achieving 60+ mph. Overall I highly recommend the kit and these stacks, feels great rn, as my bike is currently in bar hopper mode and soon to be a real bike after some tuning:)
