Hello. I'm looking to replace the speedometer/odometer display on my 2009 Honda shadow spirit vt750 c2. The current one is a back lit LCD and is faded. It's mounted on the tank and I'd like to maintain the factory location and just replace the odometer/soeedometer with an LED drop in replacement. Minor wiring isn't an issue if I have to do some in the process. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

Odometer/speedometer replacement.

I had a similar issue with my 2003. I wanted to retain the stock speedo location on the tank but found it difficault to locate a speedometer that is thin enough to fit. I ended up going with a handle bar mounted GPS speedometer since my milage counter didn't work in the first place. And the reason for the GPS speedometer is my wheel sensor was an actual sensor and not mechanical like the older models making it a bit of a pain trying to find a speedometer that would work on a budget.
