I have a 2007 Spirit c2. Shaft drive and the dimensions of the bike a little bit different from the regular Shadows. I have 2 questions: can I see pics of YOUR c2 builds and what parts from TJBC fit this bike? Im checking out the site after I post this. Thanks!

Hey folks,
I recently parted ways with my beloved 1200 Sportster (RIP, sweet vibrating beast) and stumbled across TJ Brutal Customs on YouTube. It was like discovering motorcycle gospel wrapped in grease, grit, and glorious chaos. Next thing I knew, I was sold on the Honda Shadow.
So, in true impulsive Canadian fashion, I bought a Shadow right before winter, perfect timing to bond with it like a two-wheeled emotional support animal. It’s got under 10,000 KM (yes, we measure distance in maple syrup units up here), and I was feeling pretty smug… until I realized it’s shaft drive.
Now I’m staring at this beautiful, shafty beast wondering: Is there any hope for a hardtail chopper conversion, or did I just buy the motorcycle equivalent of a toaster with no plug?
I know bobbers are doable, but I’m a sucker for that stretched-out chopper look. Has anyone here attempted a chopper-style build on a shaft-driven Shadow? Any hacks, workarounds, or wild ideas? Or should I just embrace the shaft and go full Mad Max bobber?
Appreciate any wisdom, whether it’s encouragement, cautionary tales, or just “sell it and buy a VT600, dummy.”

TJ Admin Staff memberModeratorMember who has the rights to delete posts, and ban members form forum if they violate the rules.@GreaseAndGlory i have welded hardtails for shaft drive bikes, its not impossible, but youll need to make the hardtail removeable so you can actually service the shaft drive. you wont need to do that hopefully for awhile, but when the time comes, youll thank me.
just make it so it bolts in and out. easy.

This is my 07 spirit c2 750 Decided to go the bagger route did all the work myself. Second pic is what it looked like when I bought it. Would love any feedback and can't wait to see what you do with yours
