That goes in the carb body before you put the main jet holder and main jet back in. It is directional too. One end will be kinda flat with a hole, the other end will have a tapered hole going in. The tapered side goes towards the slide.
In the image below the screwdriver is pointing to the needle jet. the needle goes down into it. but the needle jet must be installed from below when the bolw is removed and the main jet holder is out.

Haha offcourse.. feel kinda stupid now but to my defence i was 12 cans down and could barely see straight..
