Since springs came up in another post, Id like to tell the tale of my seat spring adventure.
I am a big guy, maybe even bigger than TJ.
When I converted form a two up seat to a 1936 Harley tractor seat, it was a steep learning curve. I edned up buying 4 sets of springs. The way the rear fender is, it the springs are too low your ass bottoms out on the fender.
So make dang sure you have the clearance before you start chopping. (yes I had to do some chopping).
If you are under 225 pounds, you can you any of them, the 2 and 3 inch ones TJ sells are Ideal. Once again this is to prevent you form pogo sticking down the road on the rear fender.
From 225 to 250 4 inch springs are need, and for us fat boys over that, is why the 5 inchers were made.
I now sit two inches above my windshield, so I took it off.
They even have 4 inch dual shocks. Much better than springs, UNLESS
You want the LQQK!
