The exhaust in this kit fits Honda Shadow Spirit and ACE 750 with the metal right side engine cover. If the right side engine cover is a plastic beauty cover, these pipes will not fit that year.
EXHAUST:
The Backdraft Exhaust for the Honda Shadow VT750s are a killer exhaust pipe design that is unrestricted and allows you to get the most out of your Honda Shadows performance!
Do not wrap these pipes, doing so will void the warranty as well as increase the chances of corrosion and failure.
VELOCITY STACKS:
If you remove the airbox components on a Honda Shadow with single or dual carbs, the carbs will have a hard time creating enough negative vacuum to pull in a steady flow of fuel from the pilot and main jet. The solution to this issue? Velocity Stacks! This allows the carburetors venturi to be lengthened enough so that the engine can maintain constant vacuum beyond the slide of each carb, as well as allow the air turbulence to be reduced. resulting in a much smoother delivery of air and fuel emulsification to your engine.
VT750 PERFORMANCE CARB REBUILD KIT:
With our velocity stacks and/or exhaust you will definitely need to re-jet and tune your carb, and there is no better kit to do it with than this one!
Any time a change is made to exhaust or intake, a re-jet is necessary. Sometimes this change is subtle, other times, the change is more drastic, And there is no quick one size fits all formula, so tuning does mean you may need to pull the carbs a few times. we recommend a little grease on the intake boots to ease the installation and removal of the carbs. Nobody likes chafing! Lube helps!!
This kit is meant to work with a free flowing velocity stack intake and a free flowing exhaust system. This is intended as a performance upgrade with velocity stacks and or/open exhaust and is not recommended for a stock intake/exhaust setup.

I could not be happier with my purchase. The Sound of the new pipes along with the velocity stacks is bad A--. The performance increase from the larger jets ands increased air flow is no joke. Do not expect a Rocket ship out of a 750cc motor and you will be very pleased. I have gained 8-12mph at top end and low end definitely has more ponies. Don't forget to sink those carbs. Will buy again and refer my friends to TJ Brutal Customs..

I bought my bike after sitting for who knows how long. It ran just enough to make two mile ride home. I decided to go for the MAX Performance Kit for Honda Shadow VT750 rather than just a clean-up and I'm glad I did. My bike now runs better than I ever imagined. I did all the work myself with minimal bike knowledge using the TJBC tutorial video. Pick one up, you won't regret it.
The previous owner of my bike had welded on some larger pipes without rejetting or changing the air intake, and my engine kept cutting out when I went over 50mph.
With TJ's kit, my bike accelerates much faster and I have no issues cruising at 60ish mph in 4th gear and I haven't even had a need to go to 5th yet. Also, with his videos I was able to install everything with no prior experience.
Everything fit except one AFR screw on my carb it would not seat all the way without hitting my throttle assembly, so i couldn't use it. If it was a 1/4 of an inch longer, it would be great. So, this is why i am only giving a 4 star.
